About The Position

The External Relations Representative is essential in sustaining and strengthening CC&V’s social license to operate. This role builds and nurtures meaningful relationships with local stakeholders while delivering programs that advance CC&V’s External Relations Strategy.

Requirements

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on a regular basis.
Must be able to work at high altitude.
Must hold a valid vehicle driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Communications, Public Relations, Public Policy or related field preferred.
Mining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and sustain relationships with community stakeholders as the liaison for operational activities.
Participate in and support community investment and development programs.
Support advertising, social media, and marketing activities.
Support External Relations consultants and contractors.
Participate in and represent CC&V at select events and community functions.
Plan, coordinate, and execute high-quality events that foster meaningful community engagement.
Support the advancement of sustainable mining practices in alignment with SSR Mining’s standards.
Support execution of CC&V’s business plan by delivering on objectives and tracking progress toward public and internal ESG targets.
Integrate social responsibility elements into the site’s risk management system.
Maintain records, filing systems, and databases in compliance with company policies.
