About The Position

The External Program Evaluator will be contracted by REACH Council to evaluate community programs funded by state and federal grants. This role involves developing and implementing evaluation strategies to assess program processes and outcomes, utilizing evidence-based methodologies, and collaborating with program teams to enhance program performance. The evaluator will work independently, producing reports and recommendations based on data analysis, while also engaging with stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in program evaluation (preferred).
• Driver's License (required).
• Ability to commute to Midlothian, TX 76065 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and perform studies, analyses, and evaluations across various grant-related domains.
• Collaborate with program teams to establish frameworks for monitoring performance, processes, and outcomes.
• Utilize best practices in evaluation theory and data collection methodologies to provide recommendations for program enhancement.
• Analyze grant statements of work to understand evaluation requirements for each program.
• Design and review program surveys and data collection tools for clarity and responsiveness.
• Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
• Conduct comprehensive process and outcome evaluations for community coalition programs.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and visual presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Provide technical assistance and training to program staff on data collection and management.
• Liaise with program staff to support program tracking and performance monitoring activities.

Benefits

• Contractual pay ranging from $30,000 to $60,000 per year.
