As an External Contract Manufacturer (ECM) Inventory Analyst, you'll provide system expertise and direction to Contract Manufacturers (CM's). In this role, your primary functions will include assisting with SAP transactions related to shipping, receiving, production, cycle counts, damaged goods, discrepancies, as well as problem solving inaccuracies. You'll serve as inventory control leader for materials and finished goods owned by Kimberly-Clark located at CM's as well as ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory movements and manage physical inventory counts, including Internal Control audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience in working in ERP systems such as SAP, as well as Microsoft Excel.
  • Supply chain understanding, including Procurement, Planning, Distribution, and Inventory Control is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication, with the drive to escalate and follow up on issues that aren't resolved in a timely manner.
  • Able to prioritize and manage time well.

  • Experience working in the field/s of procurement, planning and/or scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of SAP inventory at 10-15 CM locations to help drive effective inventory related business decisions.
  • Monitor conformance to procedures by auditing inventory transactions to ensure that transactions occur in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Implement corrective action when needed.
  • Be the first point of contact for system and process issues at CMs when they need help processing or correcting an entry in SAP.
  • Assist with getting disposition for damaged or aged materials at CM locations.
  • Work with CM's and Procurement/Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
  • Manage and facilitate annual finished good counts, and regular raw material cycle counts at sites to ensure inventory accuracy (typically managed remotely).
  • Reconcile inventory transactions and engage site leadership in issue resolutions and implementation of process improvements.
