About The Position

The Store Manager at Circle K is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The role requires strong leadership skills to recruit, hire, and train employees, as well as to manage tasks and schedules effectively. The Store Manager will also be responsible for developing positive relationships with suppliers and the community, promoting safety, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train employees.
• Ability to use a computer for reports and inventory control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, and well-kept.
• Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills in hiring, training, and counseling.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees.
• Train employees on customer service, site image, and safety procedures.
• Ensure proper communication among employees and conduct periodic meetings.
• Evaluate and develop action plans to meet site objectives.
• Manage store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately and timely.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.
• Budget and forecast P&L lines and manage merchandise margins.
• Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
