Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education.
• Connect with externs nationwide to build a supportive network for structured encouragement.
• Participate in monthly manufacturer-lead workshops or meet one-on-one with trainers for individualized learning.
• Engage in community-driven initiatives and volunteer opportunities.
• Utilize top-of-the-line hearing technology from leading manufacturers to tailor solutions for patients.
• Learn, ask questions to your preceptor.
• Document appointments.
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments.
• Order/service hearing aids.
• Take earmold impressions.
• Conduct follow-up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings.
• Perform any task beneficial to your clinic.
