About The Position

Job Summary Provides under the direction of a registered nurse, those aspects of patient care which have been previously learned/demonstrated in the nursing program in which enrolled. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assesses the patient under the direction of the registered nurse. Contributes to the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse. Implements the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse. Participates in the evaluation of expected outcomes and goals under the direction of the registered nurse. Administers treatments as ordered according to policy and procedures under the direction of the registered nurse. Reinforces the health/teaching/education of individuals and groups of patients under the direction of the registered nurse. Participates in activities to improve health care delivery under the direction of the registered nurse. Builds knowledge and experience base regarding clinical leadership. Supports life long learning. Completes assigned goals. Specifications Experience Minimum Required Enrolled in an approved nursing program preparing for RN licensure. Completion of one academic year of clinical courses in nursing. Preferred/Desired Education Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Training Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required Computer literacy Preferred/Desired Licensure Minimum Required BLS certification within 14 days of hire date Preferred/Desired

Requirements

• Enrolled in an approved nursing program preparing for RN licensure.
• Completion of one academic year of clinical courses in nursing.
• Computer literacy
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
