A day in the life: The Porter is responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of public and operational spaces within the building and responds to special Building Management requests and work orders. This role is key to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors. What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member Service all public and operational spaces throughout the building. Maintain the plaza and parking garage areas as specified. Ensure elevator cars are clean and presentable. Preserve the lobby and first impression areas. Uphold the exterior appearance of the building. Maintain restroom cleanliness and hygiene. Check and restock restroom supplies regularly. Monitor and clean building grounds. Oversee and maintain the cleanliness of the dock area. Clean stairwells daily, dust mop stairwells weekly, and damp mop landings and treads monthly. As sist with snow removal as needed. Respond to special requests throughout the day. Respond to work orders via cell phone/tablet What you’ll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Porter. Strong communication skills. Must speak English Capable of operating cell phone and/or radio Willingness to work assigned hours. Ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, or kneel as required.
