About The Position

The Field Training Supervisor at Securitas is responsible for overseeing the training and development of security personnel. This role involves facilitating training sessions, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. The supervisor will also create training materials and provide coaching to staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in developing a high performing team with strong customer service skills and great communication while adhering to our core values; Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • Standard computer / technology skills needed.
  • Minimum of 1 year of security experience, customer service, or hospitality experience required.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, accountable, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screen process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
  • Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to specialists as needed.
  • Act to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training.
  • confer with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
  • Update and develop training curriculum.
  • Develop training schedules in conjunction with management.
  • Follow appropriate instructional procedures and methods for training needs.
  • Organize training manuals, reference library, testing, and evaluation materials, visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate performance of training activities, and to monitor progress of trainees.
  • Document interactions and report findings to leadership.
  • Cross train with Training and Development Supervisors to serve as backup as needed.
