OEE invites applications for an Extension Program Coordinator, Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources. This is a full-time, twelve (12) month, administrative professional position. Program coordinating responsibilities include agriculture, natural resources, livestock, 4-H Youth Development and other Extension programming. This position serves as a subject-matter resource for agricultural production, livestock systems, rangeland management, and small-acreage stewardship. The Program Coordinator works collaboratively with the San Miguel Basin Extension Director to coordinate research-based educational programming that strengthens agricultural resilience, supports producers and landowners, and enhances community capacity. The position emphasizes applied education, direct technical assistance, and emergency response preparedness. This position reports to the San Miguel Basin Extension Director and collaborates with CSU Extension faculty and specialists statewide, Conservation Districts, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA), and community partners. While this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, the individual in this position is expected to maintain a balance establishing a presence in the primary office, to effectively carry out the duties of the position. The work schedule will vary, and occasional nights and weekend work will be necessary.
