About The Position

Holy Trinity: An Episcopal School is looking for an Assistant Director of Extended Day for our Primary School. This position works closely with the Director of Auxiliary Programs to facilitate a safe and engaging afterschool program for Grades 5 to 8. This is a part time position, 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, or until the last child has been picked up, Monday – Friday on school days only.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma required.
• Problem solving skills, capable of dealing with multiple tasks while maintaining composure.
• A positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be resourceful.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision and manage divisional Extended Day Staff.
• Understanding of students’ needs and an ability to handle conflicts according to school procedures.

Nice To Haves

• College credit, Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Classes or Degree a plus.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience working with/ teaching students grades 1st-4th grade.
• Child Care or Youth Camp experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate after school programming for Grades 5-8
• Ensure that rules and safety protocols are being followed.
• Daily supervision Middle School Extended Day staff
• Manage daily attendance of staff using the electronic time clock and student using the attendance sheets.
