About The Position
The Enrichment & Extended Day Facilitator/Snack Coordinator at Charlotte Latin School plays a crucial role in supporting the Director, Enrichment Vendors, and After-School classroom teachers. This part-time position involves supervising transitions to and from Enrichment classes, ensuring accurate carpool and bus dismissals, and providing a variety of healthy snack choices for both Enrichment and After-school programs. The Facilitator is responsible for planning and scheduling Enrichment transitions effectively, with a strong emphasis on detail, organization, and problem-solving strategies. Additionally, the Facilitator must consider children's allergies when planning snacks, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all students. During teacher workdays and non-enrichment seasons, the Facilitator will serve as a Floater in grades TK-5, assisting with lunches and supporting the Director with the organization of the teacher workroom and ordering of supplies. This role requires a proactive approach to communication and collaboration with parents, vendors, and fellow staff members, ensuring that all interactions are timely, professional, and appropriate. The Facilitator will also be responsible for taking pictures during Enrichment classes and sharing them with the Administrative Assistant, as well as keeping the Director informed of any behavior or medical issues that arise during Enrichment or on the bus. Overall, the Enrichment & Extended Day Facilitator/Snack Coordinator is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students, while also ensuring that all logistical aspects of the Enrichment programs run smoothly.
