Position Overview: Expressive Arts Specialist As an Expressive Arts Specialist, you’ll be part of our Prevention Team, delivering services that are: Client, Family and Community centered Collaborative Professional and compassionate In this role, you will be providing expressive arts services to youth and families in the community and in an outpatient setting. The Expressive Arts Specialist will develop, implement and coordinate a prevention oriented expressive arts program that includes a variety of opportunities for youth and families to explore in the realm of visual arts, drama arts, movement, music, language arts, etc. Please note that this is a part time position, Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm with flexibility. Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in an expressive arts medium or a social work/like degree with expressive arts credentials/training
  • Previous expressive arts experience, involving visual art, movement, music, sound, drama, crafts, drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
  • Must possess a valid Driver License and meet the driving requirement of the Agency
