About The Position

Joe Morgan Honda is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Express Technician to join our service team. The Express Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services quickly and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Some mechanical aptitude or previous experience in an express or lube tech role (preferred but not required)
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow in the automotive field
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must pass a background check and Drug Screening

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
Replaces oil and air filters.
Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants
Adds proper fluids to radiator and battery
Completes inspection sheets
Resets maintenance lights/tire pressure monitoring systems(TPMS)
Documents all work performed on the repair order
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by the service manager
Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
Notifies the service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Other duties may be assigned
