Join the Tom Wood Honda team as an Express Technician and take the next step in your automotive career. This position is currently based at our Anderson, IN location. Tom Wood Honda is excited to be transitioning to a brand new dealership facility in Whitestown, IN, expected to open early 2027. Team members hired now will have the opportunity to grow with us through this exciting transition. Requirements

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Basic automotive knowledge required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • All offers are contingent upon passing a background check

  • All offers are contingent upon passing a social security verification
  • All offers are contingent upon passing a drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with shop equipment (wheel/tire tools, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, AC equipment) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or maintenance
  • Accurately document all services performed in compliance with company standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally to customers
  • Stay current with automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
  • Complete minor repairs such as replacing air filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
