About The Position

EXPRESS TECHNICIAN NEEDED The Express Service Technician performs minor maintenance and Express service repairs on customer vehicles. Primary goals are the safe, efficient performance of all service and repair tasks as defined in dealership processes and policies. We are seeking a motivated Express technician who will promptly complete the web-based training through Subaru of America and an individual who is eager for career advancement in the automotive field. Schedule: Service Department Hours - Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm & Saturday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm . Spangler Subaru is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace. Requirements

• Knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipment
• Motivation to learn
• Strong customer service focus
• Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• PA State Safety & Emission Inspection Certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs Express service duties, minor maintenance, and Express service repairs on customer vehicles
• Conducts multi-point and tech video multi-point inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed express services and repairs
• Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations
• Uses and maintains dealership-provided tools and equipment in proper operating condition
• Clearly and accurately documents inspection findings and service requirements, and communicates them to the Express Service Representative
• Communicates proactively to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work through the Express Service bays
• Quality-checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested
