About The Position

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring an Express Lube Technician in Waldorf, Maryland for 2nd Shift. The Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment located on customer job sites or in a shop setting as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a shop service environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform responsibilities at customer job sites with minimal supervision.
• Possess an excellent driving record and valid Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain a CDL or DOT certification.
• Capable of operating boom truck or equivalent and proper use of overhead and field service cranes.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and service software required in position.
• Must be able to work overtime as required by job and customer demand.
• Efficient use of supplies with limited waste.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
