About The Position

Express/Lube Technician. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and other complex mechanical problems. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs. Customer Service: Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide detailed explanations of vehicle issues and required repairs. Offer recommendations for additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure customer vehicles are repaired correctly and in a timely manner to meet customer satisfaction. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete repair orders, detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair. Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed. Report any additional vehicle issues or concerns to service advisors and management. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other service technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry developments and dealership policies. Assist and mentor junior technicians as needed. Compliance and Safety: Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to shop policies and regulations. Properly dispose of hazardous materials and maintain compliance with environmental standards.
