About The Position

UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Express Care team in Waterloo, Iowa. This position is part-time, requiring .3 FTE with 1–12-hour shift per week. The clinic operates on a concierge urgent care model, open from 8 am to 8 pm, 365 days a year, with a weekend and holiday rotation of 1 weekend every three weeks. The role does not require any call responsibilities and involves working with experienced staff in a fully integrated system using Epic EMR to enhance care coordination. Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
• Board Certified
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioner's field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injuries

• Offer select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.)
• Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow-up care, and educate patients
