About The Position

As
Export Operations Specialist
you will play a key role in supporting the
growth of our Export Operations Team.

In this position, you will be responsible for :

Coordinate export shipments via ocean, air, or truck from origin to
destination.
Ensure timely and accurate flow of shipment information and documentation.
Track shipments in transit and provide status updates to customers.
Generate invoices and maintain accurate customer and shipment records.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiate with vendors and carriers for cost-effective rates and reliable
service.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, tariffs, and industry best
practices; maintain accurate system data.
Prepare and manage job costing forecasts, payables, receivables, and
accruals.
Comply with all regulatory requirements, including FMC and TSA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, preferably in export operations.
• Strong knowledge of ocean and air export operations, with understanding of international shipping procedures and documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CargoWise is considered a strong plus.
