About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a leading agribusiness dedicated to connecting U.S. agricultural products with global markets. From procurement to shipping, we pride ourselves on building strong international relationships and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Export Documentation Coordinator to join our team in Omaha, NE. The Export Documentation Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our international sales by managing documentation and vessel logistics. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with customers, brokers, agents, banks, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant export operations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles (percentages, calculations, etc.).
  • Understanding of agricultural production, international banking, and customs regulations preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database/accounting software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language proficiency a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers, brokers, and agents to prepare and provide required export documentation.
  • Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and banking documents for international transactions.
  • Maintain and update reports on shipments, container and vessel loadings, and contracts.
  • Track payments and monitor compliance with payment terms.
  • Review and request amendments to letters of credit and other payment arrangements.
  • Calculate, negotiate, and settle lay-time with counterparties.
  • Provide vessel loading instructions and coordinate documentation with relevant parties.
  • Prepare load orders for unit train shipments.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
