About The Position

TechTrans International provides language services and travel logistics - language teaching, interpreting, translating, travel coordination and much more. We have international offices, staff and clients calling us from around the world. We are seeking for a Full-Time Export Control Analyst for our Logistics Contract who is highly organized, able to work at a fast pace, and has excellent customer service and people skills. This position is onsite. The Export Control Analyst shall provide assistance and facilitate export compliance activities by performing the following tasks: Provide analysis of exports to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations Perform export classification review processes and submit for approval Integrate Export Control products across multiple NASA programs Assess requests and make recommendations for commodity export jurisdiction/classification as well as foreign national access to NASA technology.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of applicable experience, or any combination of education and applicable experience.
  • Experience in export classification of Hardware, Software and Technology/Tech Data in both ITAR and EAR.
  • Experience in EAR/ITAR Authorization (license) development and management.
  • Experience with multiple software applications such as MS Project, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint are required.
  • Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking skills.
  • Candidate must require no sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, Documentation for Export Compliance and Ethics in Trade.
  • Knowledge of engineering/technical processes in the Aerospace or Defense Industry
  • Previous experience working with NASA or NASA contractors
