About The Position

Perform logging of core and reverse circulation drill cuttings. Prepare and update geologic database(s), maps, and other exploration records. Performs geologic surface mapping, rock sampling, and other field activities. Prepares samples and paperwork for laboratory submission. Other duties as required. Requirements

• At least 2 years’ progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Geosciences.
• Must be enrolled as a student for the term following the internship period.
• Appropriate knowledge of the principles and practices of geology
• Proactive safety-driven mindset. Must follow accepted safety best practices and OGC/OGE procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and terrain.
• Current valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
