About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Test Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing. Execute automated regression suites and analyze results to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities. Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation. Perform manual testing (functional, exploratory, regression) when needed. Report and track defects to closure in coordination with development teams. Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation.
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • Experience with version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
