General Purpose: The Expert Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the buildout, accuracy, and ongoing maintenance of AgriVision Equipment and PrairieLand Partner’s (AVE-PLP) Job Code Database within the John Deere Expert Services system. This role serves as the central point of coordination between Expert Services, service operations, and AVE-PLP leadership to ensure consistent, accurate, and efficient use of John Deere Expert Services across the organization. This position reports to the Aftermarket Support Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of AVE-PLP’s DNA.
  • Strong understanding of John Deere dealership service operations, labor standards, and technician workflows.
  • Ability to analyze service data, technical documentation, and OEM standards to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, service leadership, and OEM partners.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical, operational, or process-related training.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Passing a driving record (MVR), criminal history background checks, employment verification, and drug screen will be required prior to the start of employment.
  • Three or more years of experience in service operations required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of John Deere Expert Services, DealerPath, and Marketing Service Times (MSTs) preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize the complete buildout and ongoing maintenance of the Expert Services Job Code Database for AVE-PLP.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Expert Services team and AVE-PLP leadership, providing updates, insights, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Build, manage, and continuously improve the Expert Services Job Code Database to support service efficiency, consistency, and profitability.
  • Regularly analyze John Deere Expert Services and Marketing Service Times (MSTs) using John Deere’s DealerPath website and apply findings to job codes, labor standards, and service processes.
  • Manage and maintain the John Deere Service Admin Portal (SVAP), including setup, accuracy, compliance, reporting, and ongoing administration.
  • Oversee all service agreements created within SVAP, ensuring agreements are properly structured, maintained, and aligned with dealership and John Deere requirements.
  • Communicate changes, updates, and additions related to John Deere Expert Services and service agreements to all relevant personnel within AVE-PLP.
  • Act as AVE-PLP’s internal and external technical specialist for John Deere Expert Services, supporting both internal teams and customer-facing conversations when appropriate.
  • Develop and deliver internal and external training related to John Deere Expert Services, job codes, SVAP processes, and best practices.
  • Consult with Service Technicians, Service Managers, and other technical resources to ensure job codes, agreements, and Expert Services content accurately reflect real-world repair requirements and field conditions.
  • Establish and maintain a structured feedback intake and escalation process for Expert Services, ensuring ongoing issues and recommendations from locations are tracked, prioritized, and addressed beyond the first year.
