Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (preferably from this client).
  • Minimum of sixteen (16) years of experience specific to developing Datacenter, LAN, WAN, and Client Access network architectures and networks/systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree related to specific skill from an accredited college or university OR: Associates and eighteen (18) year of related work experience OR: No degree and twenty (20) years related work experience.
  • Experience with testing, integrating and deploying systems and ability to perform full lifecycle system management.
  • Experience with developing Datacenter, LAN/WAN, and customer network architecture and networks or systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Cisco Firepower Management, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) networks, Firewalls and VPN Concentrators (FTD and ASA), Cisco Datacenter, LAN/WAN, Client Access technologies, i.e. MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, EIGRP.
  • Understanding of high availability technologies and implantation and development concepts.
  • Experience with technical validation of network designs, network monitoring, and incorporate best practices.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with complex situations.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, as well as working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain relevant technical training to remain current with evolving technology landscape.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with building, deploying and maintaining the Nutanix hypervision platform, Palo Alto Firewalls via Panorama, and Citrix Application Delivery Controllers.
  • Experience with SIEM and security analytical technologies (e.g.: Splunk, pcap, Netflow, Solarwinds, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle management of network infrastructure, including design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Scale and implement internally developed solutions, with a focus on performance monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
