About The Position

The FSG Analyst is responsible for performing complex and timely imagery analysis and imagery derived MASINT analysis in support of JSOTFs engaged in combat operations throughout the world. Duties include, but are not limited, to the Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) of remotely sensed data such as Hyper/Multi-Spectral Imagery (HSI/MSI), Thermal/Infrared Imagery, Electro-Optical Imagery, Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR). A successful Expert Full Spectrum GEOINT Analyst performs and conducts quality control of advanced level imagery and imagery derived MASINT analysis and processing using geospatial/imagery applications and related automation in support of Special Operations missions with regional and point analysis with detailed products to support Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze targeting methodology.

Requirements

  • 8 years of progressive experience with operational and tactical level intelligence.
  • Experience in Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) of remotely sensed data.
  • Demonstrated experience with the implementation of emerging FSG processes and technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of geospatial and intelligence data management within OGC compliant applications.
  • Superior knowledge of collection processes and management.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Advanced knowledge of FSG techniques supporting the F3EA targeting cycle.
  • Expert knowledge of sensor phenomenology and their application towards tactical intelligence problems.
  • Basic knowledge of computer scripting languages such as Python, Java Script, HTML, R, or SAS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and conduct quality control of advanced level imagery and imagery derived MASINT analysis.
  • Process and disseminate remotely sensed data including HSI/MSI, Thermal/Infrared Imagery, Electro-Optical Imagery, SAR, and LiDAR.
  • Support Special Operations missions with detailed products for targeting methodology.
  • Research, train, document, and implement emerging FSG processes and technologies.
  • Build collection plans against defined problem sets.
  • Provide training on FSG data and techniques to non-FSG analysts.
