About The Position

CACI is looking for a Biotechnology Intelligence Specialist to support an Emerging and Disruptive Medical Technology Project in Charlottesville, Virginia. CACI is starting a project to provide intelligence analysis on health and medical issues related to foreign militaries and operating environments that delivers decision advantage to support military operations. In this effort we produce finished intelligence on a wide range of topics related to emerging and disruptive biological technology. Identify health-related disruptive threats and assess the impact of foreign environmental health issues and trends on environmental security and national policy. Develops Indicators that identify intentions, capabilities, or actions of potential actors that target health and related technology. Produce assessments projecting the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced medical technologies and their impact to Defense Critical Infrastructure. Conducts a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist analysts, engineers, and scientists involved in Biomedical Engineering and research into emerging and disruptive biological technology. Provides staff support to include reviewing documents for accuracy, technical editing, managing RFIs, conducting task actions, producing reports and briefings. Conducts analytical exchanges with personnel throughout the intelligence community, Defense Intelligence Agency, Unified Commands, Services, and other national agencies

Requirements

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • A Polygraph or ability to successfully complete one as a term of employment.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in a Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Neuroscience, Synthetic Biology, Pharmacology, Biotechnical Manufacturing or other Medical related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience conducting intelligence analysis related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Working understanding of DIA Analytic Design, product line, and style guide.
  • Working understanding of ICD 203 & 206.
  • Previous experience publishing inside of DIA
