About The Position

We are seeking an Expert 3D Apparel Designer to lead digital garment creation within Jordan's Sport category. This role blends advanced digital garment craft, performance design literacy, and modern workflow innovation. You bring strong intuition around proportion, movement, fit, and construction, paired with the technical capability to translate early creative input into expressive, high-fidelity digital garments. You work confidently between rapid exploration and precise refinement, simulate with purpose, and help accelerate clarity and decision-making across teams. You also help build the digital foundation: reusable base garments, avatar and motion libraries, consistent simulation standards, and connected head-to-toe workflows that scale across seasons.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design, Digital Fashion, Industrial Design or relevant design degree or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
7+ years of blended digital and physical apparel creation experience, including hands-on garment construction and 3D simulation workflows
Advanced proficiency in CLO, Browzwear, or Style3D with strong rendering and visualization fluency
Understanding of pattern logic, sewing construction, and material behavior in motion
Portfolio demonstrating drape accuracy, range of exploration, and digital execution quality
Experience collaborating with design, development, materials, and pattern/TD partners
Familiarity with USD workflows or interest in building scalable digital garment libraries
Ability to operate in evolving systems and document repeatable workflows
Comfort exploring emerging tools, including AI-assisted ideation and visualization were additive to speed and clarity

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of general 3D best practices, and experience with various other 3D programs a plus

Responsibilities

Lead 3D garment creation from early studies to refined simulations
Model and simulate performance garments to express drape, structure, and movement intent
Render and animate to communicate material behavior, fit, and performance narrative
Build and maintain reusable garment blocks, avatar/pose sets, and simulation standards
Create structured workflows that move concepts toward build-ready digital assets
Partner with development and TD to support pattern accuracy and physical validation
Contribute USD-ready apparel assets and naming/metadata conventions
Partner with footwear 3D to shape unified digital head-to-toe visual strategies
Explore AI-assisted workflows responsibly to support early ideation and iteration speed
Share methods and tools that raise digital craft across the studio
