About The Position
The position involves setting up and operating various types of digitally driven manufacturing equipment, including CNC multi-axis and multi-function machines, gear cutting, gear grinding, surface grinding machines, and other integrated systems. The role requires the operation of internal, centerless, surface, external, thread, and universal grinders for development and tool work, with the ability to grind steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours, and threads. Set-ups and work must be held to extremely close tolerances. The individual will advise and assist engineers in the development of new processes to manufacture various metallic and composite dynamic components, such as transmission and gearbox cases, covers, housings, and various gears. All work performed will be for experimental purposes only.
