Requirements

  • 3+ years of welding experience
  • Degree in a technical area or 1 year of welding certification
  • Experience welding thin-gauge metals
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing or customer-provided blueprints
  • Ability to accurately read weld sketches and pass all required weld tests
  • Strong measuring skills and the ability to weld within tight tolerances
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and staff at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand welding equipment to join metal components and fill holes, indentations, or seams in fabricated metal products.
  • Read work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts to ensure your welds meet customer designs with precision and accuracy.
  • Inspect component parts, identify any non-conformances, and properly document them.
  • Maintaining your welding equipment in good working order, keeping your tools and work area clean, and recording accurate job logs will be part of your daily routine.
  • Follow all relevant NADCAP procedures and established safety protocols while communicating effectively with team members and staff at all levels to ensure every part meets our high-quality standards.
