Requirements

3+ years of welding experience
Degree in a technical area or 1 year of welding certification
Experience welding thin-gauge metals
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing or customer-provided blueprints
Ability to accurately read weld sketches and pass all required weld tests
Strong measuring skills and the ability to weld within tight tolerances
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and staff at all levels

Responsibilities

Operate hand welding equipment to join metal components and fill holes, indentations, or seams in fabricated metal products.
Read work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts to ensure your welds meet customer designs with precision and accuracy.
Inspect component parts, identify any non-conformances, and properly document them.
Maintaining your welding equipment in good working order, keeping your tools and work area clean, and recording accurate job logs will be part of your daily routine.
Follow all relevant NADCAP procedures and established safety protocols while communicating effectively with team members and staff at all levels to ensure every part meets our high-quality standards.
