The Warehouse Foreperson will lead a shift of skilled crew members through daily operations and unexpected challenges. As the first point of contact, this role is responsible for directing workload, coordinating cross-departmental communication, and ensuring production goals are met. The Foreperson will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager.

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff and seasonal workers on best practices for inventory systems, logistics, and safety protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Help schedule tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure all daily goals are met.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of all program supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly documented and processed.
  • Coordinate with carriers and freight services to optimize logistics and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Utilize an inventory management system to track and forecast equipment and supply needs.
  • Implement quality control measures for all incoming and outgoing materials to maintain high standards.
  • Lead the team in pulling, packing, and fulfilling orders.
  • Ensure all orders are packed accurately and securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to understand program needs and shipping schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and effectively.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Willingness to work in freezer conditions (-20°F).
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills for inventory tracking and warehouse documentation.
  • Familiarity with all warehouse and staging areas for production and shipment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Previous manufacturing experience in a warehouse role.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and common shipping protocols (e.g., FedEx, UPS).
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Starting compensation of $31.70 per hour.
