About The Position
Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital (LSVH) is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our dedicated team. Located in the vibrant Upper West Side near Lincoln Center, we are an AAHA accredited practice known for our commitment to high-quality veterinary care. Our facility is a busy, well-established privately-owned general practice that values the contributions of our veterinary technicians, who play a crucial role in patient care. We are looking for a full-time licensed or experienced veterinary technician who is passionate about their profession and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. As a veterinary technician at LSVH, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that support both in-patient and out-patient care. Your primary duties will include administering medications via various routes (SQ, IM, IV, PO), managing patient admits and discharges, performing venipuncture and catheter placements, assisting in surgical procedures, and monitoring patients during anesthesia. You will also be involved in radiology, dentistry, drug calculations, and running in-house lab tests, as well as communicating effectively with clients regarding their pets' care.
