About The Position

We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians to join our full-service, small pet hospital in Clearwater (majority dogs, cats, few exotics/rabbits/pocket pets). We have full-time and part-time positions available with competitive wages and an excellent benefits package. Technicians will receive compensation based on experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary clinic.
• Strong desire to learn more about the veterinary field and pet care.
• Ability to work weekend shifts.
• Ability to take constructive criticism well.
• Physical abilities to perform required tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a variety of small pets including exotics, rabbits, and pocket pets.
• Openness to mentorship and personal/professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client care while maintaining enthusiasm.
• Assist in maintaining a positive culture and work environment.
• Help with client call backs and stay later than scheduled if needed.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
• Manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 40 pounds.
