VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital has been fortunate to work with pets and their people in the Newton community for more than 45 years. We are a four doctor, small animal practice that believes in the importance of dedicated client and patient care. VCA Rotherwood is looking to hire an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Requirements

Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Are you certified or eligible to be?

Responsibilities

Client communication and education
Efficient and accurate use of electronic medical records and practice management software
Supporting the DVM team with patient appointments, taking accurate histories, providing treatments, and assisting with procedures
Safe patient restraint, phlebotomy skills, hands-free radiology
Surgery preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient post-op care
Commitment to training and development of new team members
