Experienced Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our VCA Russell Animal Hospital team, here in Concord, NH. VCA Russell Animal Hospital is a 4-doctor practice that has been AAHA accredited for over 75 years. It is centrally located an hour away from the mountains and the seacoast. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care-with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. Why We Need You As a member of the VCA Russell Animal Hospital team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent-by delivering an outstanding client experience-so they will partner with us for the lifelong care of their companion animals. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Assist Doctors with physical examinations and patient assessment Laboratory work Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients The information in this position description indicates the general nature and level of work to be performed.
