About The Position
VCA McClave Animal Hospital located in Reseda, Ca is looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our 8 Doctor Practice! We are looking for experienced (3 year minimum) Veterinary Assistants to provide excellent patient care (both preventative & urgent care). Veterinary Assistants are responsible for assisting the doctors and providing care for the patients hospitalized in the treatment area. What makes VCA McClave Unique? Requirements

Responsibilities
- Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
- Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
- Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
- Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
- Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
- Maintaining medical records.
- Providing treatments and performing diagnostics as directed by DVM
- Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
