Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician.
• Experience with anesthesia for general surgery and dentistry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and pets.
• Ability to manage time and priorities efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong patient care skills and ability to advocate for patients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in general dentistry (1 year preferred).
• Interest in videography or social coordination for staff events.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during appointments and procedures.
• Prepare for surgeries, including running anesthesia during surgeries and dental procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and take radiographs (dental and full body).
• Educate clients on pet care and use Fear Free techniques with patients.
• Administer vaccines, express anal glands, and clip nails.
• Call in and fill prescriptions, run in-house lab work, and administer fluids and injections.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and perform housekeeping duties.
• Participate in puppy and kitten appointments and other clinical tasks as needed.
