About The Position

Luxury Residential Smart Homes $30–$44 per hour based on experience + $100 per overnight travel night This is an hourly, non-exempt role. Install, program, and commission integrated smart home systems in luxury private residences. Lighting control. Shading. AV. Networking. Control. If you are an expert in Lutron and understand how AV, networking, and control tie together, you will thrive here.

Requirements

• 2+ years programming and installing residential AV systems in private homes
• Solid experience with Lutron HomeWorks systems required
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• Ability to think holistically across lighting, AV, and control platforms
• Clean wiring and rack-building skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Savant preferred

Responsibilities

• Program and commission Lutron lighting and shading systems
• Configure and support Savant and integrated AV control systems
• Build racks, terminate wiring, and deliver clean, serviceable installs
• Test, optimize, and finalize complete home systems
• Troubleshoot complex system interactions on-site and remotely
• Work inside finished luxury homes where precision matters
