Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years tax experience.
  • Knowledge of ONESOURCE Income Tax is preferred.
  • Must be able to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to present relevant information and facilitate a meeting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This includes assisting in the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences.
  • Gather supporting documents to prepare the Medpace Federal, State & Local income tax returns.
  • Assist in gathering supporting documents for Federal, State & International audits by tax authorities.
  • Assist Tax Manager/Director on various tax planning initiatives.
  • Research changes in tax legislation and its potential impact to Medpace.
  • Assist in compliance with SOX controls for the tax department.
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
