About The Position

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Systems Engineering Technician to join the Aircraft Modernization and Modification programs. The desired candidate will work in the B-52 Sustainment and Radar Modification Program (RMP) office in a Cybersecurity/LISSO (Limited Information System Security Officer) role. The candidate will work well with others and harmonize with all levels of Information Security personnel as well as upper management on a periodic basis. This Level 4 position is located in Oklahoma City. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

• Information Security experience
• 2 or more years of experience with Systems Engineering principles
• Experience working with internal, external and/or Government customers directly
• Experience in maintaining cybersecurity controls for assigned systems to meet enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
• This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and 2 or more years' experience
• System Engineering requirements and security verifications experience
• Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Great communications and writing skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile, flexible team environment
• compTIA certification

Responsibilities

• Supports systems/specialty engineers in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.
• Gathers, tracks and analyzes reliability, maintainability and health monitoring data.
• Selects appropriate data to conduct failure analysis and corrective action planning.
• Evaluates and recommends methods, processes, procedures and tools for assessing maintainability characteristics of design.
• Coordinates the development of certification and aviation regulatory proposals and plans and verifies compliance to requirements.
• Develops and implements certification processes, tools and procedures.
• Provides technical support to all system engineering activities.
• Coaches and mentors others.
• Works under minimal direction.
