About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Ridley Park, PA .
Position Responsibilities: Functional Lead for Order Managers (schedule Homeroom tag-ups/assist with training/develop training/provide guidance) Prime overall contact for Order Managers within Team Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters Assist with developing solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies Determines correct supply source to release MSMS orders identified by team Works with scheduling or any capacity/sales order issues Collaborates with buyers, shop focals, etc. for updates on supply source status. Directs and performs all expedite activities and delivery recoveries in support of AM for Spare requirements Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies Works with and follow up to post awards/buyers to ensure PR to PO to delivery Monitors GRIEF system, PR Constraints and various reports to ensure parts flow through systems and remove road blocks Looks up and identifies export information for shippers Releases shippers to GXO for shipment to Program Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in internal or external supply chain
• 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional team – i.e. collaboration with varying technical disciplines, clearly communicating up and down the food chain, does not require micro-management, can give and take orders, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience analyzing data and/or identifying functional and systems requirements with customers

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Experience with planning, organizing, innovation, problem solving and creativity
• Experience in Risk Identification & Management
• Ability to communicate and think strategically while making important decisions
• Experience in collaborating with other team members
