The Boeing Company's Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) organization is currently seeking an Experienced Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist to join our Warehousing and Transportation team. This position may be based in Mesa, AZ ; Everett, WA ; Seattle, WA ; Hazelwood, MO ; Englewood, CO ; North Charleston, SC; or Wichita, KS . As a Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist, this role will represent multiple stakeholder groups and take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities including, but not limited to, early engagement with stakeholders, sourcing strategy development, RFP authoring, proposal analysis, terms and conditions negotiation, and purchase orders. Strong knowledge of the procurement lifecycle, experience in supplier negotiations, and an established record of managing supplier relationships with mutually beneficial outcomes will be critical to success. Process-mapping and introducing procurement best-practices will be a key element of the role. Focus areas will include all modes of transportation (air, ocean, road, parcel, rail) as well as 3PL storage facilities.
