About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to join a high-performing culinary team in a fast-paced upscale casual/fine dining environment. This is a full-time, year-round position (not seasonal) offering leadership responsibility across daily kitchen operations, in-house dining, and catered events.
The ideal candidate brings strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering consistently high-quality food while maintaining an organized and professional kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of cooking experience (preferred)
• 5+ years of restaurant management experience (preferred)
• Experience in upscale casual or fine dining required
• Strong knife skills and ability to work cleanly and efficiently
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and passion for quality cuisine
• Must be available days, evenings, weekends, and peak summer holidays
• Reliable transportation required
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and support overall back-of-house management
• Prepare and execute menu items with precision, consistency, and efficiency
• Lead kitchen staff during service, ensuring quality, timing, and presentation standards
• Manage multiple priorities across in-house dining and offsite catering/events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment
• Support inventory oversight and operational coordination
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture
