About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, experienced, Skilled Mechanic. Our team members have the opportunity to earn the top pay in the area, as well as paid on-the-job training throughout the year. The ideal candidate must be a team player but also be able to work independently. This position requires a friendly and positive attitude.

Requirements

• Must have a current driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass pre- and post-employment drug screenings.
• MUST have experience with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and equipment by diagnosing problems, performing maintenance like oil changes and brake work, and replacing worn or faulty components.
• Knowledge of both gas and diesel engines is required.
• MUST have basic tools to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Inspection: Thoroughly examine vehicles and machinery to identify any issues or potential malfunctions.
• Diagnostics: Use computerized equipment and specialized tools to analyze engine data and pinpoint the root cause of problems.
• Repairs: Fix mechanical and electrical problems, replacing worn parts like brake pads, belts, and sensors, and repairing engine systems.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform regular service such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, filter replacements, and wheel balancing to prevent future issues.
• Component Replacement: Install new components and parts, including shock absorbers, radiator hoses, and other units.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of all service, repair activities, parts used, and materials consumed for each vehicle.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize a wide array of tools, including wrenches, pliers, diagnostic scanners, jacks, and hoists.
