Requirements
- Experience working as a Service Technician, preferably at dealer-level or large facilities
- Strong mechanical and electrical automotive knowledge
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Safety and customer service oriented mindset
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Nice To Haves
- Automotive certifications such as ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues using experience, analysis, and testing
- Perform intermediate or advanced automotive service and repairs
- Complete pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure quality and readiness
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service and repairs
- Ensure completion of all documentation in compliance with regulations and standards
- Help maintain shop appearance, safety standards, and efficient operations, including inventory stocking
- Adhere to all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
