About The Position
Huffmaster is seeking experienced security professionals to fill both full-time and part-time positions in Plymouth, MI. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of security officer experience and must reside within driving distance of Plymouth, as relocation expenses are not covered. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work weekends, as this is a critical aspect of the job. The starting pay for this position is $18.03 per hour, and candidates should be prepared to work various shifts, including 10, 12, and 16-hour shifts when necessary, especially in emergency situations. As a security officer, you will be responsible for access control to the facility, monitoring security cameras, conducting hourly foot patrols, and responding to incidents with proper documentation and report writing. You will also perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and interact frequently with clients and their personnel. The position demands flexibility, as you may be required to work additional shifts beyond your regular schedule in case of emergencies.
