About The Position

This is a high-performance, in-home sales role with technical execution. The technician will visit customers' homes who already need service, diagnose problems, confidently present repair and upgrade options, close the sale on the spot, and then complete the work themselves. It is emphasized that this is not an entry-level role and requires existing experience in closing jobs, selling repairs and upgrades face-to-face, and performing the work at a high level. Top performers are expected to close 80%+ of opportunities, consistently present options the customer actually needs, earn 5-star reviews, take ownership of their numbers, demonstrate integrity, communicate clearly, and execute cleanly. The role operates with expanded service hours, including shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and requires flexibility for weekend work as the facility is open seven days a week.

Requirements

  • Currently working as a garage door technician
  • Already closing jobs and comfortable selling in the home
  • Able to clearly explain your sales process and close rate
  • Proud of your 5-star reviews and customer feedback
  • Competitive, self-driven, and performance-focused
  • Valid driver’s license (3+ years driving record)
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, and work in varying temperatures
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded)
  • Basic comfort with navigation apps, Google tools, tablets, and software
  • Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments
  • Minimum of 1 year in garage door sales and service
  • Currently employed by a reputable Garage Door company
