We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales department, strengthen team performance, and drive continued growth. As the Experienced Sales Director for Advantage Chevrolet of Bolingbrook, you will coach and motivate the sales team to achieve outstanding results, implement effective sales strategies, and ensure an elevated customer experience throughout the dealership.

Requirements

  • Experienced automotive sales leader with a background as a Sales Director, GSM, or senior management role.
  • Proven track record of growing sales volume and improving department performance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, trends, and KPIs to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and deeply committed to customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with dealership CRM systems, digital retailing tools, and GM/Chevrolet processes is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed dealership sales goals consistently.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize volume, profitability, and market share.
  • Oversee daily sales operations and ensure full compliance with company policies and GM/Chevrolet guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, community partners, and vendor partners.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and inventory needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Service, and Marketing to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop experienced, high-performing sales professionals.
