Experienced RN, Peds Hematology & Oncology Position Highlights: Status: Full-Time Shift: Nights, 7p-7a Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts with every 3rd weekend rotation This job qualifies for a $15,000 sign-on bonus , provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements! Brenner is staffed by over 150 full-time pediatric faculty with members representing over 30 pediatric subspecialties. In addition, Brenner Children's is staffed by physicians representing all pediatric surgical specialties . In 2015, Brenner Children's Hospital was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America's best children's hospitals. What You'll Need: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. One year of RN experience; Pediatric or Oncology nursing preferred. Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire for Adult Critical Care, Adult ED Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire for Network ED, Peds ED, PICU and NICU, and other areas per unit guidelines What You’ll Do: As a Registered Nurse, you will be the key architect of tailored care plans for patients all ages. Your expertise in anatomy, education, and psycho-social aspects ensures top-notch care while prioritizing safety, education, and rest. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- One year of RN experience
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire for Adult Critical Care, Adult ED
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire for Network ED, Peds ED, PICU and NICU, and other areas per unit guidelines
- Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Solid written and oral communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or Oncology nursing preferred.
