The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides medical services for complex acute and chronic health issues, such as trauma, high-risk obstetrics, sepsis, GI bleeds, and strokes. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, enhancing their experience and supplying healthcare information as needed. This position requires an empathetic, understanding, and nurturing caregiver to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
- Will consider military RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon hire or within one year of employment

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
